Dogs at the Cider Mill
The Cider Mill welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs by prior arrangement. We are dog owners ourselves and want to make your stay and their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Please note we do also consider our guests who come and stay who are not dog owners.
We provide:
- 2 medium sized dog crates with sherpa cage mats
- 2 dog bowls and large water bowl
- 2 dog towels and poop bags
- doggy rocks provided in water bowls to prevent yellow patches on lawn
- extendable hose for washing down dirty dogs
- An enclosed garden – this does not mean it is totally secure
Dog Terms
Dogs should be happy and comfortable on a working farm environment with livestock, working dogs and horses nearby. Please note there may be sheep grazing in nearby fields.
Dogs need to be booked in just like humans. Please supply age, sex and breed of dog. Dogs under 1 year old and elderly dogs who are incontinent are not welcome. Charges of £25 per dog for the weekend and £50 for the week apply.
Dogs who bark permanently are not permitted as they will disturb other guests and neighbours.
There is a paws on floor policy. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture and this includes beds.
Dogs may not be left in the house unattended.
Dogs are not permitted in the playing field.
All dog poop to be collected and put in the bin.
